Allison Liu, PhD, Supervising Clinical Psychologist
Dr. Allison Liu is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the State of California (PSY31961) with specialized training in multicultural community-clinical psychology. She has extensive experience in early intervention, developmental assessment, interdisciplinary collaboration, and trauma-informed clinical care. She is a Certified Facilitator of Touchpoints: The How of Child and Family Engagement through the Brazelton Touchpoints Center reflecting her commitment to relationship-based, developmentally informed practice. Dr. Liu’s background also includes extensive training in psychological and neurodevelopmental assessment across the lifespan.
Dr. Liu has received advanced training in Multi-Element Behavior Support (MEBS), including participation in a small masterclass on the work of Israel Goldiamond led by Gary LaVigna, Ph.D., BCBA-D, co-founder of the Institute for Applied Behavior Analysis. She has worked under the leadership and clinical supervision of Lori Ann Dotson, Ph.D., Chief Knowledge & Learning Officer of the IABA Research & Education Foundation, for several years. Her work reflects MEBS’ constructional, non-aversive, and ecological framework, integrating skills teaching, environmental redesign, and function-based supports within culturally responsive and trauma-informed systems of care.
Dr. Liu has presented nationally on MEBS implementation across the lifespan and on diversity, inclusion, and family engagement within applied behavior analysis and clinical psychology contexts. She remains committed to advancing interdisciplinary, culturally responsive, and values-driven behavioral health practice by facilitating training in positive behavior supports.
